We Welcome Dr Pearl to Dental Outreach!
Dr Pearl will be joining both Ardrossan Dental and Minlaton Dental & Denture Clinic. Dr Pearl is a highly skilled dentist with a passion for cosmetic and digital dentistry. Born in Botswana, Dr Pearl completed her BSc at the University of Botswana before going to New Zealand to pursue her BDS degree. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Otago, marking the beginning of her dental career.
With seven years of experience as a dentist in New Zealand, Dr Pearl has honed her expertise in dentistry. Her special interests lie in the fields of cosmetic and digital dentistry, particularly in the application of Invisalign, veneers, Clear Correct, and Botulinum Toxin.
Her passion for creating beautiful smiles and educating others is a testament to her exceptional skills as a dentist and her genuine care for the people she serves.
Dr Pearl’s dedication to her patients goes beyond the technical aspects of dentistry. She strives to create a relaxed and comfortable environment, ensuring her patients feel at ease throughout their dental visits.
This commitment led her to obtain a certificate in IV sedation, allowing her to provide specialised care for individuals with dental phobias. Driven by a desire to make a positive impact, she takes pride in witnessing her once-fearful patients now undergoing treatment without sedation, thanks to the trust and rapport she has built with them. Dr Pearl finds joy in enhancing her patients’ smiles. For her, dentistry is a unique branch of medicine that encompasses education on oral hygiene, preventive dentistry, pain relief, and the ability to offer beautiful smiles that boost people’s self-assurance.
Dr Pearl enjoys music concerts and exploring new destinations through travel. She is also actively involved in giving back to her community. Driven by her passion for sharing knowledge, she volunteers in Botswana, donating toothpaste and toothbrushes to rural areas and providing oral health education to less fortunate communities.
