Testimonials
A word from our team.
Working for the group has been a great experience. One aspect I have enjoyed is the support I received when I decided to move to a regional area. A transition like this would’ve usually made me feel isolated, but being part of this group meant I never felt alone. I always had someone to turn to for help, and the continuous learning opportunities kept me motivated.
The patients are genuinely appreciative of the fact that I am available locally, making it easier for them to access dental care. This allows me to undertake treatments that might be considered riskier, as the patients understand the risks involved and find them preferable to the costs and inconvenience of traveling to the city. This has allowed me to grow as a clinician (within my limits and scope) while genuinely making a difference to my patients.
Besides dentistry, working in a remote area has been an extremely rewarding experience as I’ve become part of a great community. I’ve met some amazing people and had some amazing experiences in just the short time I’ve being here. For example, last Thursday there was a Facebook post in the locals’ page about a whale down by the jetty, so me, Sharon (receptionist) and Cassie (DA) rushed down there after our last patient and watched a Southern Right whale swim along with about 100 other locals!
CPD sessions thus far have both reinforced my previous learning and provided me with new knowledge. Additionally, I feel like I have the opportunity to ask specific questions and get feedback from different minds on my own work.
Working with the group has been incredibly rewarding and satisfying as a general dentist in regional SA! There’s mentorship from specialists and experienced general dentists, regular CPD meetings, support from marketing, finance, and management. There are many opportunities to increase my scope of practice and fill in and do some work around other locations around SA including much needed outreach work! It’s taught me plenty and I look forward to growing more within the group as well as a clinician.
I have been working with Dental Outreach for over 4 years now, being my first full time role after graduating university. Working regionally has been an extremely rewarding experience. It has given me the freedom to undertake a wider variety of cases early in my career. As the sole clinician in the clinic, this enabled me to carry out treatment plans from start to finish, ultimately progressing my career rapidly. Being a part of a bigger group has benefited my journey as a dentist substantially which enabled me to transfer to one of the group metropolitan clinics. The support has been amazing especially with the CPD sessions which have been great to learn from specialists and other experienced clinicians.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working at Dental Outreach. It’s been such a pleasure to work with such a friendly team. My career was greatly enhanced by being part of a larger group. We got the opportunity to attend regular CPD sessions every month, presented by specialists and experienced dentists. It also allowed us to network and have case discussions with colleagues and senior dentists.
I love that every day is different. Chatting with the patients and making them feel comfortable and assured is very rewarding, and I have loved being able to make the role mine. I love the way the group is there for each other; while each clinic is separate and individual, we also all work together to help and back each other up when needed.
Working at Berri Dental has been great. I have learned a lot of new things but have also managed to share some bits of my knowledge along the way. We are a unique, happy little family, and that’s why I enjoy coming to work.
